PREFACE
India has emerged as one of the fastest growing startup ecosystems in the world. By 2025, India is expected to have 60,000 startups and 100 unicorns. Its unique talent pool has made it the hub for corporate innovation, with over 1200 multi-national companies setting up their Global Innovation Centers and 500+ global startups setting up their R&D centers in India. This exponential growth is made possible through the collective efforts of the ecosystem.
The government has brought about startup friendly policy initiatives. In addition, the emergence of the India Stack, Digital Health Stack and the Make in India initiative along with a vibrant investor and corporate community is unfolding the India story for the startup ecosystem.
The buzz around innovation has been growing with the emergence of advanced technology- based solutions across sectors, led by healthcare, retail, Industry 4.0, finance and mobility. Today, more corporates in search of disruptive solutions are engaging with and investing in innovative startups to build unique world-class solutions.
