As automobile companies transition to Electric Vehicles, design complexity around interference among electronic systems dramatically increases, leading to risk of compliance failures, as high as 30 percent, due to lack of early identification of EMI/EMC* issues at the design stage. Existing testing methods are capex intensive and require a prototype.
SimYog’s Compliance-Scope™️ is a virtual laboratory for EMI/EMC testing, helping electronics designers to simulate the performance of the hardware at the design stage.
By leveraging Intel software tools, SimYog’s solution witnessed a 2x increase in performance speed, reducing the simulation time from 20 hours to 10 hours
SimYog has been working with the Product Analysis Center of a large Tier-1 automotive supplier based out of Osaka, Japan to enable a framework for Virtual EMI/EMC laboratory. Together they have developed IC-models which is a significant breakthrough towards accurate EMI/ EMC simulation. This will enable design for EMC, saving 6-12 months in time-to- market.
SimYog offers a Virtual EMI/EMC* laboratory to facilitate automotive electronic designers to validate and improve its hardware at early stages of development
